Private consultations are open! Book a consultation with me, Mary M. Kearney, extraordinary-ability specialist, licensed attorney, and author of this website, for guidance on building your tech-specific O-1 / EB-1A evidence portfolio.

A quick consultation will answer a question, clarify a concept, or find out whether something “counts” toward meeting the category requirements.

A full consultation includes a thorough review of your credentials and evidence; a one-hour Zoom call to answer your questions; and a recap email with recommendations for moving forward.

I’m an immigration attorney with over 25 years of experience specializing in extraordinary-ability visa petitions. More about me here.

What you get: Personal one-to-one legal guidance, from an attorney at the senior-partner level. When you hire a top-tier law firm to file your case, you don’t get much personal attention from the “big name” who really understands how to structure your case. They just don’t have time.

But what if you could pick the “senior partner option”? What if you could get one-to-one guidance from the most experienced attorney? Would that save you a ton of time, worry, and wasted effort?

That’s what you get with a VisaBuilder consultation. You get the deeply focused, curious, interested attention of the senior partner, every time.

Because VisaBuilder’s an experiment in scaling and information-sharing, it’s not set up to prepare and file cases. The private-consultation model is designed to equip you, the person whose future’s at stake, with the tools that give YOU the highest level of control over your case structure and your outcome.

Here at VisaBuilder, most of my clients are mid-career senior software engineers, industry data scientists, founders, and entrepreneurs. That’s because you are, by far, my favorite clients to work with, so you’re kind of pre-selected. I’ve also filed successful O-1 / EB-1A cases across a wide spectrum of industry occupations, from Fortune 100 C-suite executives to mechanical technicians (who were actually the best in the world at what they did).

Consultations are flexible and tailored to your situation. Are you building your own portfolio? Seeking a second opinion? Reconstructing a denied case? Getting sponsored by your startup? All questions welcome.
